GREEN SMOOTHIE
A lot of people screw up there faces when they see green smoothies and I totally get that, they can look pretty disgusting! But they really taste super delcious and are packed full of antioxidants and vitamins, making them very nutritious!
And because green smoothies contain WHOLE FOODS (not juices, green juices are different to smoothies) you are getting heaps of fibre into your diet!
Greens also improve your skin!
Here is one of my green smoothie recipes that I use!
1 banana (frozen for a thicker consistancy)
1 handful of greens (I like to use either baby spinach or kale)
¼ of a cucumber
1 cup of almond milk (unsweetened)
1 apple
Also, if you want your smoothie to be sweeter, add a splash of agave or throw in 1 medjool date!
